• Raheel Altaf

  Raheel has managed Artemis‘ ‘global emerging markets‘ strategy with Peter Saacke since its launch in April 2015. A Cambridge graduate in electrical engineering, he joined Fidelity International in 2002 as a quantitative analyst. In 2007 he was promoted to portfolio manager for a range of funds which grew to $2.5 billion. He moved to Fulcrum Asset Management in 2011. In 2014 Raheel joined Artemis to help Philip Wolstencroft and Peter manage the SmartGARP® funds and institutional mandates.
  

• Victoria Heffer
  Prior to joining the Institutional team at Artemis in September 2009, Victoria was at Capital International for 10 years where she had marketing and client relationship responsibilities for UK and Irish clients. Before that, she was at Gartmore Investment Management for several years. Victoria received a BA in European history from the University of East Anglia.

   The global pandemic has significantly accelerated a number of existing disruptive technological trends that have become popular among investors over the last decade. The valuation dispersion between highly rated, expensive stocks and unloved, value stocks is extreme relative to history. This throws up a raft of compelling investment opportunities. Artemis fund manager, Raheel Altaf, will look at the impacts of Covid-19 on emerging markets and discuss why he has confidence in his portfolio’s contrarian positioning.
