  3. Rotating Investment Masterclass I - UK Infrastructure Debt: Contributing Towards the Development of Economies and Society

Infrastructure debt supports the growth of UK PLC through investment in projects such as fibre broadband networks and cleaner electricity production. For pension schemes, investment in this essential and sustainable infrastructure exhibits a relatively low exposure to the economic cycle, offering diversification benefits, but also a contractual income with a yield pick-up over public market equivalents. Couple these factors together with encouragement from the UK government for schemes to invest in infra and it is rapidly becoming a mainstream allocation. During this session Jerome Neyroud and Tim Horne will discuss the themes that are making UK infrastructure a compelling proposition and how schemes can position it within their portfolios; be it as a standalone allocation, as part of a CDI solution or as a component of a multi-private credit strategy.
