The Labour party’s website currently does not list any shadow pensions minister, as Gill Furniss MP has stepped down.

Furniss is no longer listed on the shadow cabinet website, and no one else is named as shadow pensions minister.

A Labour party spokesperson said: "We can confirm that Gill Furniss has stepped down from her position as shadow pensions minister due to personal reasons."

The current shadow work and pensions secretary is Liz Kendall, who took on the role last September.

Furniss has been contacted for comment.
