Professional trustee firm Vidett has made Wayne Phelan sole chief executive. He previously shared the role with Naomi L’Estrange.
Vidett emerged from the combination of 20-20 Trustees and Punter Southall Governance Services in February last year.
The trustee firm said that “following a board level restructuring”, Phelan has been made sole CEO with immediate effect. The former chief executive of PSGS previously shared the CEO role with Naomi L’Estrange, the former managing director of 20-20.
L’Estrange will leave Vidett at the end of her notice period and taking time away from the business in the meantime, according to the firm.
John Batting, chair of Vidett, thanked L’Estrange for her work and said: “I look forward to working with Wayne in his new role as sole CEO, as we continue to build and develop Vidett.”
L’Estrange said: “I am sad to be leaving Vidett but I am very proud of what we built at 20-20 Trustees and how well we have grown the business of Vidett since our merger with PSGS last year. We have many great people in Vidett and, while I am sorry not to be part of Vidett’s next exciting phase of growth, I know that the business will continue to go from strength to strength.”
Phelan said: “We will continue to grow and expand Vidett and I look forward to taking on this new role.”
