The Northern Ireland Local Government Officers’ Superannuation Committee has hired Isio as its new investment adviser.

The firm’s appointment followed “a rigorous selection process” conducted through the National LGPS framework, according to the Local Government Pension Scheme fund.

“At a time of volatile investment markets and stretched public sector budgets, Isio will play a key role in helping us maintain our investment performance so that we can preserve our surplus and ensure our employer contribution rates are economical,” said Louise Hickland, head of investment services at Nilgosc.

The consultancy’s head of public sector investment advisory, Andrew Singh, said advising LGPS funds was a “growing area of strength” for Isio.

Alongside Isio, the fund is advised on investments by LPFI.
