At this Drive In, we will take a closer look at four 'Alternative' investment areas: Life Settlements, Multi-Asset Investing, Systematic Dynamic Asset Allocation, and Absolute Returns.

    In this Masterclass, Foord will explain their approach to multi-asset investing that aims to maximise return with minimum risk from a portfolio of international assets, including equities, fixed interest investments, commodities and cash. The specific aim is to produce an annualised return over time in excess of 10% in US$.

    In this Masterclass, QLAB will examine unconstrained dynamic asset allocation systems targeting convex or absolute returns using systematic techniques. We will discuss how these techniques can be applied to multiple asset classes and how they can offer their signalling directly, outside of a fund structure.

    In this Masterclass, TwentyFour will explain their absolute return fund that is targeting LIBOR 250bp whilst keeping volatility below 3%. The fund actively invests in a diversified portfolio of sensible risk-adjusted investments in global fixed income.
