Ross Teverson, Jupiter Asset Management Head of Strategy, Emerging Markets, Jupiter Asset Management Ross joined Jupiter in 2014 as Head of Strategy, Emerging Markets Equities. He manages the Jupiter Global Emerging Markets Unconstrained SICAV, the Jupiter China Select SICAV.
Prior to joining Jupiter, Ross worked for 15 years at Standard Life Investments, where he managed a global emerging markets equity fund. Ross spent 7 years in Standard Life Investments’ Hong Kong office, where he managed an Asian equity fund, and was a director of the business. He was also appointed director of Heng An Standard Life, a Chinese life insurance joint venture between Standard Life and Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area.
Ross is a graduate of Oxford University and is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.

Joseph Mariathasan, Independent Advisor Independent Advisor Joseph Mariathasan is an independent consultant and investment specialist. He is a Partner of Pangaea Finance Partners, a hybrid platform focussing on strategic investment in China's non-bank finance sectors. He is a Contributing Editor to Investments & Pensions Europe responsible for the monthly investment column as well as investment related articles across all asset classes and he is a co-founder and a shareholder of Investments & Pensions China. He also has collaborative relationships with a number of other institutional financial service providers including the strategy consultancy StratCom and marketing consultancy Copthall Partners.
Joseph has over 20 years’ experience in financial markets, having worked for Shell International, Kleinwort Benson, Aviva (Morley Fund Management), and GMO, in a variety of technical and senior management and business development roles. Joseph has extensive knowledge of risk management, asset allocation, derivatives, treasury, fixed interest and equity fund management. He has been responsible for launching many new innovative ventures and transactions. These include: a joint venture quantitatively managed equity fund with Harry Markowitz, the Nobel prize winner; the launch of the first index fund for China; a $100m private equity firm in China with an arm of the UK government; and large-scale derivative strategies for liability management. He is also an ex-Chairman of the “UK Asset and Liability Association”.

Sean Burnard, Law Debenture Sean joined the Law Debenture pensions practice in 2017 having worked in the investment industry for the last 12 years. Prior to that Sean was an Actuary for 10 years in the pensions/life industry. Sean is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and during his career he has acted as Pensions Actuary, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer. Sean has experience in DB and DC schemes and has worked across multiple asset types. He has a BSc in Statistics from the University of Cape Town and recently gained the Certificate in Company Direction from the IOD.
