Hywel Rees, Principal, AMP Capital Hywel Rees is an experienced executive in the airports and infrastructure sectors, with experience of operating airports and other infrastructure businesses at leadership team level. Mr Rees began his career in the steel industry in 1991. He has 20 years’ experience of running transactions in the airports and infrastructure sectors, including UK and international project financings and airport M&A transactions. Mr Rees is a board member and asset manager for Newcastle Airport in the UK and is a board member of Melbourne Airport in Australia.
Before joining AMP, he spent 10 years at Ferrovial, where he led the forced disposal and pre-sale separation of Stansted Airport from BAA/Heathrow for £1.5bn and, earlier, the forced disposal of Edinburgh Airport for £807m; both under Competition Commission oversight. Whilst at Ferrovial, Mr Rees sat on the Leadership Committee of BAA/Heathrow’s Airports Division (comprising Stansted, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton airports) and participated fully in the operation, strategic direction and long term planning of those businesses. Prior to that, he was a senior member of the team at Ferrovial's support services subsidiary, Amey plc, first as Senior Counsel and later as Transaction Director. Mr Rees qualified as a project finance lawyer and practised with Baker & McKenzie, an international law firm. He holds an Honours degree in Economic History from Exeter University and a Masters degree in Construction Law & Arbitration from Kings College, London.

Boris Mikhailov, Client Strategist, Aviva Investors Boris is responsible for designing and delivering investment strategies to meet investors’ specific objectives. In particular, he is focussing on liability driven investment and alternative income solutions. He works closely with colleagues across a wide range of functions including business development and client service, portfolio management, operations and legal.
Prior to joining Aviva Investors in 2013, Boris was a principal consultant within Mercer’s Financial Strategy Group (FSG) where he specialised in providing strategic investment, financial and risk management advice to pension funds and corporate sponsors.
Boris spent 11 years with Mercer, having joined the Investment Consulting business in 2002 before moving to the Financial Strategy Group when it was set up in 2007.
Boris holds a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics from Heriot-Watt University.

Heiko Schupp, Global Head of Infrastructure Investments, Columbia Threadneedle Investments Heiko Schupp is the Global Head of Infrastructure Investments at Columbia Threadneedle Investments with responsibility for establishing and managing our global unlisted infrastructure business including our European Sustainable Infrastructure Strategy.
Prior to joining the firm, Heiko worked at Hastings Funds Management Ltd, where he was the Portfolio Manager of the Core Infrastructure Income Fund. Heiko is a first generation investment professional in the infrastructure asset class. He has extensive experience in originating and closing international infrastructure transactions, managing assets at board level as well as portfolio management. For the last decade, he has been part his organisations’ investment committees. Prior to Hastings, his roles included Investment Director at the ABN AMRO Infrastructure Fund, Head of Infrastructure for Europe at HBOS and Head of Urban and Light Rail at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
He graduated in 1996 from the FH Koblenz (University) in Germany as Diplom Betriebswirt FH (Masters Degree in Economics).
