Andy Tunningley Andy Tunningley leads the UK Strategic Client Team within BlackRock's EMEA Institutional Client Business where he is responsible for the relationship management of large UK pension schemes.
Mr Tunningley was previously at Aon Hewitt where he had worked in Investment Consulting since 1990. He was Head of UK Investment, between 2004 and 2008, thereafter becoming the Global Strategy Leader for Investment. Following the acquisition by Aon he became the CEO Global Practice Leader for Investment Consulting, overseeing the three-way integration of Aon, Hewitt and Ennis Knupp, growing the firm to be an advisor with over $3trn of assets under advice. Mr Tunningley earned an MA in Mathematics from Cambridge University and a MMath from the same institution.

Barry Fricke Global Head of Private Credit Barry Fricke is Global Head of Private Credit, Product Strategy & Solutions at Aberdeen Standard Investments. He represents the private credit capabilities of the firm, developing new and customised investment solutions for clients globally. Prior to joining Aberdeen Standard Investments in April 2017 he was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs for eight years, based at various stages out of London and New York, advising on and managing private credit and alternative investment portfolios. He started his career at JP Morgan, working on investment strategy and portfolio construction. Barry holds an MA in Philosophy from the University of London, Birkbeck, an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg), and a BEng in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pretoria. He is a CFA charterholder and holds the Certificate in Quantitative Finance. Barry is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.

Boris Mikhailov Boris Mikhailov – Client Solutions Director
Boris joined Alpha to help further develop the firm’s business with pension funds and their advisers in the UK and Ireland.
Boris has over 18 years’ experience of client solutions gained from working in consulting and investment management. Before joining Alpha Boris was an investment strategist at Aviva Investors where he was responsible for building outcome-oriented investment strategies for institutional clients, focusing on Cashflow Driven Investing (CDI) strategies. Prior to that, Boris was a principal consultant within Mercer’s financial strategy group where he specialised in providing strategic investment, financial and risk management advice to pension funds and corporate sponsors.

Louay Mikdashi Louay Mikdashi is Head of Alternative Solutions for BlackRock in EMEA and is responsible for managing and expanding the region's multi-alternative platform.
Mr. Mikdashi joined BlackRock in 2015 from Santander Asset Management where he held the role of CIO of Global Alternatives and led all aspects of the investment process across alternative strategies (hedge fund, private credit, private equity, insurance linked, regulatory capital, among others). Mr. Mikdashi also held the position of Chief Investment Strategist for Santander Asset Management and led economic and market research across 11 countries and co-chaired the global investment committee of the firm. Prior to joining Santander in 2004, Mr. Mikdashi worked in the wealth management divisions of Citibank and ABN AMRO advising and managing assets for a broad range of clients in Latam, Europe and the Middle East.

Tim Conway Tim is the head of Private Credit at NewStar Financial, the alternative credit group of First Eagle, where he serves as a member of the Management and Investment Committees. Tim founded NewStar in June 2004, serving as its chief executive officer and, from 2006, as chairman of the company's board of directors.
From 1996 to 2002, Tim managed Corporate Finance and Capital Markets for FleetBoston Financial Corporation and was a member of the Management, Credit Policy and Market Risk Committees. Prior to joining Fleet, Tim was a senior securities officer at Citicorp Securities Inc., with responsibility for the bank’s private placement, loan syndication and acquisition finance businesses. He was also a member of Citicorp’s High Yield Commitment Committee. Tim began his career in finance at Aetna, where he was an investment director responsible for the purchase and management of privately placed debt securities, including project finance and other structured securities.
Tim and his wife Kathryn are involved in a variety of not‐for‐profit activities. He is currently a trustee of Fairfield University and serves as a director of U.S. SQUASH and Citizen School.
Tim has a BA from Fairfield University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
