Tim Crockford Lead Manager, Hermes Investment Management Tim Crockford joined Hermes in 2009 as a research analyst for the European Equities team covering the resources, oil & gas, agricultural chemicals, capital goods and the technology sector. He became lead portfolio manager of the Hermes Europe ex-UK Equity Fund in 2015 and joined Andrew Parry in forming the Impact team in August 2016, which launched the Hermes Impact Opportunities Fund at the start of 2018, which Tim also manages. Prior to joining Hermes, Tim worked at Execution Limited from July 2006 as a primary research analyst working on major projects in the consumer, retail and financial services sectors, and then joined Sourcecap as an analyst in May 2008. Tim was raised and educated in Malta and graduated from the University of Malta in 2006 with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree. In 2016, Tim featured in Financial News’s ‘40 Under 40 Rising Stars of Asset Management’, an editorial selection of the brightest up-and-coming men and women in the industry.

Hilde Jenssen Hilde Jenssen is the product manager of the Nordea Asset Management’s Fundamental Equities team since June 2018. Hilde is leading the communication and attribution analysis for a range of equity portfolios, including Nordea’s sustainable flagship STARS strategies. Hilde partners closely with equity investment teams, develops new products, and manages business issues. She also meets with clients, prospects and consultants to communicate investment philosophy, strategy, positioning and performance. Hilde has a strong vision for integrating ESG into the fundamental investment process and developing quantitative measures to capture the impact of ESG factors on equity valuations. She engages asset owners and institutional investors to invest in ways to align their fiduciary responsibility with sustainability practices. Previously, Hilde was a portfolio specialist and a portfolio manager at Skagenfunds emerging markets equity fund. Hilde has spent most of her finance career in New York, where she started as an equity research analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston and later joined Goldman Sachs equity derivatives team. Hilde has taught courses at Columbia Business School in derivatives and capital markets. In 2008 she co-wrote a Columbia University published paper on ethical investment practices at Norway’s sovereign wealth fund. Hilde received her MBA in finance at Columbia Business School and is a CFA® charterholder.

Shade Duffy Head of Corporate Governance and Impact, AXA Investment Managers Shade is Head of Corporate Governance in AXA IM’s dedicated Responsible Investment Team, established in 2001. Shade also leads the research process for the AXA Impact Investing Programme, which deploys capital to fund innovative, private market solutions with the aim of generating positive social and environmental impact returns alongside market rate financial returns. In addition, Shade directs AXA Investment Managers’ investor stewardship activities and works with investment platforms to integrate ESG and impact considerations across asset classes and multi-asset solutions. -
Tracey Milner Director of UK Institutional Sales Tracey is a DB specialist on AXA IM’s UK Institutional Client team, with over 20 years’ experience of the local authority market. She currently has particular responsibility for managing relationships with AXA IM’s LGPS and local authority treasury clients. She joined AXA IM in 2012 having previously been Pensions and Treasury Manager at Surrey County Council, which she joined in 1991 as a trainee accountant.
Tracey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Essex University. She is also a member of CIPFA.

Jon Bell Commercial Investment Director As the Investment Director in the commercial team Jon is involved in all aspects of business development across institutional, charity and retail clients. In his years at Newton, Jon has led both the Global Equity and Multi-Asset teams and been responsible for a number of multi-asset and global equity portfolios making him ideally placed to help Newton grow in a client focused fashion. He sits on Newton’s product and commercial committee and investment risk oversight groups. Jon joined Newton in 1995 and has a degree in natural sciences from Cambridge University. -
John Bromley Head of Clean Energy Investment John leads strategy and direct investments in Clean Energy infrastructure and technology including NTR, Oxford PV, Tokamak Energy Ltd, Upside Energy and Pod Point. John’s role is to increase Legal & General’s presence in the UK clean energy sector, particularly seeking long-term partnerships with developers, operators and technology providers. John works closely with LGIM, LGR and L&G’s property and housing businesses, to identify and develop low carbon energy solutions and opportunities. John has 20 years’ experience including key roles working in infrastructure and PPP/PFI investment, involving planning and procurement, structuring, project financing and delivery of £5-10bn of major projects in the water, wastewater, waste-to-energy, health, defence and clean energy sectors.
Before joining Legal & General Capital in 2015, John managed an institutional equity fund and asset management team based in Europe with a portfolio of 15 utility-scale renewable energy assets (c.800MW), including onshore wind, offshore wind and solar.
