Michael Levy Co-Head Emerging and Frontier Equities Team, Barings
Michael was appointed Co-Head of the Emerging Equities Team in 2016. Michael oversees the Emerging Europe, LATAM and Frontiers functions. Michael is the co-manager on a number of Global Emerging Market mandates including Barings’ flagship Global Emerging Markets Fund. Prior to this, Michael was investment manager in the EMEA & Global Frontier Markets Equity Team. He joined Barings in July 2012 after 17 years at AllianceBernstein where he held a number of equity portfolio management and research roles. His most recent responsibility before joining Barings was as a portfolio manager for Emerging and International equity portfolios. Michael began his career in 1992 at Grant Thornton Chartered Accountants as a Partner Trainee. He has a BA (Hons) in Economics and Social Studies from the University of Manchester.
Samuel Bentley Client Portfolio Manager
Sam Bentley joined Eastspring Investments, the Asian asset management business of Prudential plc, as Client Portfolio Manager, in August 2008.
Sam is the Client Portfolio Manager for the Regional Asia and Global Emerging Market equity strategies and is responsible for representing the views and the strategies of the respective investment teams.
Prior to joining Eastspring Investments, Sam worked at Henderson Global Investors in London for 8 years and has 19 years of financial industry experience.
