Pete Smith Pete is an experienced Investment Consultant, predominantly providing advice to pension scheme trustees on constructing and implementing their investment strategies. He is a firm believer in being rewarded for the risks being taken, and ensuring the extent and consequences of those risks are understood.
As Head of Sustainable Investment at Barnett Waddingham Pete is keen to make sure the discussion around sustainability is elevated from ‘doing things better to reduce risk’ to helping clients recognise sustainability and ESG are disruptive longterm changes in thinking. With that comes great opportunity to enhance returns for those who recognise the changes and are positioned to act.
