Róisín O’Shea Business Development
Róisín is part of Rothesay’s Business Development team. She has spent most of her career focused on pension de-risking and has worked on a wide range of transactions both at Rothesay and also during her time in Aviva and Legal & General’s bulk annuity teams. Róisín is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and has received the Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary accreditation.

Sean Boland Partner & Head of Corporate Credit
Sean Boland is Head of Corporate Credit at Cheyne, having been a Portfolio Manager of Cheyne’s investment-grade credit funds since he joined the firm in 2003. Sean has been responsible for the day-to-day management of the group’s funds since December 2014, with a focus on portfolio construction and leveraging the group’s valuable fundamental research output.
Prior to joining Cheyne, Sean worked at Merrill Lynch International in London, where he was a member of the Securitisation and Portfolio Credit Derivatives team. Sean graduated from University College Dublin where he was awarded a Bachelor of Commerce (International). Sean is a CFA Charterholder and has been awarded the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.

Nicole von Westenholz Partner & Head of Strategic Business Development
Nicole von Westenholz joined Cheyne in 2004 and is Head of Strategic Business Development and a Partner. Nicole is responsible for Cheyne’s strategic relationships, including UK pension funds and investment consultants. Prior to joining Cheyne, Nicole worked in Corporate Finance at Lazard in London. Nicole earned her MA (Hons) in Modern Languages from Edinburgh University.

Henry Barstow Director, Institutional Fixed Income
Henry joined the Prudential Group in 2011 initially on the global leadership programme “Momentum”. His primary focus is now developing our Institutional Fixed Income business in the UK with Consultants and Pension Funds.
Prior to this Henry was a British Army Officer for five years and served on operations in Afghanistan with the Gurkhas.He graduated from the University of Edinburgh with aMasters in History. He holds a Certificate in Business Accounting (CIMA) and is a CFA Charterholder.

Russell Lee Head of Insurance Solutions
Russell joined M&G Investments in 2019 to head the Global Insurance Solutions team. The team brings together expertise from across the firm to meet the complex requirements of insurance clients. He now also heads up the Pension Insurance Solutions team with M&G’s Retail & Savings division. This team is focused on bulk annuities and other forms on insurance for DB pension schemes. Before joining M&G,
Russell spent four years in L&G’s retirement division executing large bulk annuity transactions and developing new products. He worked closely with the internal asset manager on cash-flow matching strategies, holistic portfolio management, and incorporating illiquid assets into portfolios. He has a broad background in insurance and pension consulting, investing private capital, portfolio restructuring, corporate banking and quantitative finance. Russell holds a Doctorate from Queen’s University Belfast in Theoretical Physics.

James Edwards Director, Institutional Business
James is a Director within the UK Institutional team with a particular focus on Corporate DB pension schemes. Prior to joining BMO Global Asset Management in May 2018, James worked at BlackRock for 10 years as both an institutional client director and a fixed income product specialist, with a focus on global credit. James is a CFA Charterholder.

Simon Bentley Managing Director, Head of Solutions Client Portfolio Management UK
Simon is Head of UK Client Portfolio Management, responsible for the investment outcome delivered to a range of our Investment Solutions clients. He focuses on our UK and Irish client base and has significant experience working with many pension and insurance clients of all sizes, implementing a range of LDI, fixed income and derivative based portfolios. Simon joined the group in 2011. Previously Simon worked at UBS Global Asset Management and Insight Investment where he covered a range of asset classes, focusing in particular on derivative and fixed income mandates. He started his career at Lazard Asset Management. Simon holds a BEng in Manufacturing Engineering from Loughborough University
