Dominic Byrne Head of DC Strategy for EMEA, BlackRock
In his role, Dominic is responsible for business development, investment strategy and product and solution evolution across the region. Dominic serves as the lead client facing resource for EMEA distribution teams. He engages with external stakeholders who drive Defined Contribution decision making, including benefits consultants, trustees, master trust investment committees and providers of retirement solutions across Europe. Dominic is a member of the LifePath EMEA Investment Committee.
Dominic has spent over 15 years of his career in product and investment strategy roles where he was responsible for developing solutions and products and positioning these products both internally and externally.
Prior to joining BlackRock in 2007, Dominic spent three years at American Express Bank, most recently as an investment specialist with the Global Wealth Management group. He earned a BA degree from the University of Durham in 2003.

Mark Guirey Head of EMEA Insurance Segment and UK & Ireland Asset Owner and Consultant Coverage at MSCI, MSCI
Based in London, Mark is responsible for strategy and client engagement across all aspects of MSCI services. Since joining MSCI in 2016, Mark has worked with pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies and other institutional investors providing tools and services that enable them to make better investment decisions. This includes extensive engagement on matters relating to ESG and climate related risks and opportunities.
With over 20 years' industry experience, Mark spent a large portion of his career working in the asset management industry as a sales director. He worked with institutional clients to provide solutions across the full range of asset classes and investment styles available. Mark started his career at Rothchild Asset Management, before moving to BlackRock where he spent 13 years before joining Allianz Global Investors.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (Honours) from City University.
