• Alejandro Arevalo

  Alejandro is Head of EMD and a Fund Manager in the Fixed Income team, specialising in emerging market debt. He joined Jupiter in November 2016. Before joining Jupiter, Alejandro worked at Pioneer Investments as an emerging markets corporate debt portfolio manager. Prior to this, he worked on emerging market debt strategies at Standard Bank Asset Management, Gibraltar Bank and the International Bank of Miami. He began his investment career in 1998.

  Alejandro has an MBA in Finance.

• Matthias Dettwiler

  Matthias is Head of Index Fixed Income at UBS Asset Management, a role he has held since 2012, he has the overall responsibility for all index tracking fixed income portfolios globally including exchange traded funds. In addition, he is Head of Fixed Income Switzerland for all Fixed Income investment capabilities.

  Prior to being appointed to his Index Fixed Income role in November 2012, Matthias headed the FX and Global Bonds team in Zurich, and was responsible for implementing active and passive global bond strategies across Zurich-based portfolios. In addition, he was a senior portfolio manager of USD denominated money market, short andmedium term aggregate and credit mandates for more than 10 years.

  Matthias joined UBS in 1995 on a three-year banking apprenticeship. In 1998 he moved to UBSInvestment Bank (Eurobond execution) and subsequently to UBSPrivate Banking (International Fund Distribution). Hejoined fixed income portfolio management in 2000.

  Matthias holds the ‘Certified International Investment Analyst’ designation and the ‘Swiss Federal Diploma for Expert in Finance and Investment’. He is a member of the European Council of Bloomberg Barclays Indices and the FTSE EMEA Bond Index Series Advisory Committee.In addition, for the UBS Asset Management Switzerland AG, Matthias acts as Deputy Head of Investments.

• Antonia Benfield

  Antonia is a member of the UK Institutional Client Coverage team at UBS Asset Management. She is responsible for the relationship with a number of institutional clients andisalso responsible for building relationships withprospective clients.

  Prior to this, Antonia worked in Investor Relations forSoftBank Investment Advisers, responsible for servicing investors in Vision Fund I.

  Before joining Softbank Investment Advisers, Antoniastarted her career at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she worked with Institutional clients in both the UK and Nordic regions.

  Antonia holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).

   As the transition to a low carbon economy gathers momentum, it is creating attractive investment opportunities for asset owners. Coupled with major regulatory shifts, climate considerations are and should be at the forefront of asset owners' minds when considering their investment allocations. Whilst much of the focus has been centered on listed equities to date, we believe the forgotten child in climate considerations are fixed income allocations. In this session, we will evaluate how investors can look to improve their fixed income allocations by carefully integrating climate considerations in both a risk controlled and cost efficient manner and also potentially improve the risk / return profile of their exposure.
