Simon Grover Simon Grover, Director, Quietroom
Part of Quietroom since 2007, Simon has worked on pensions-related projects for clients including Kodak, B&CE, Invensys, Irish Life, JLT, Atkins, First Group, Lloyds bank, RBS, British Steel, BHS, Agility, Urenco, LV, Unilever and USS. He’s written and produced a dozen pension animations for KPMG. His work with Whitbread on their pension scheme helped increase the rate of people joining by 17 times, earning Whitbread an award for DC Scheme of the Year.
Simon is also an actor and a scriptwriter for children’s TV. If you’ve got young children you may remember him from Gigglebiz. Slightly older viewers may have spotted him (briefly) as a Deatheater in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Caroline Hopper Lead Consultant, Quietroom
Caroline is a Lead Consultant at Quietroom. Since joining in 2015, she’s helped asset managers communicate with investment consultants, helped fiduciary managers tell their story to trustees, and helped trustee boards talk to their members – in both the calm and the storm. She’s created videos about responsible investing, and animations about pension options. She’s worked on pensions communications and strategy for organisations including the FCA, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group, Nest, the People’s Pension, Prudential, Royal Mail, and SAUL.
Caroline’s an ambassador for the Insuring Women’s Futures programme, a CFA UK Certificate in ESG holder, and a regular public speaker on the power of pensions. She also spent half of last year working at Make My Money Matter, a campaign calling for the trillions of pounds invested in our UK pensions to build a better world.
