Zhihua Wang Zhihua Wang, CIO, CSOP Asset Management
Zhihua has a prestigious 28-year track record in China’s equity market. As one of the first generation of portfolio managers in Mainland China dedicated to A share market, he started his career in early 1990s when China’s first stock exchange SSE was launched. Zhihua's performance has been consistently among the best in his peers while he was running the biggest Mainland China mutual fund in 2007, and the best performing China offshore mutual fund since 2011. Throughout a substantial series of macro events and market cycles in the past 28 years, Zhihua has perfected his profession in active management, acquired extensive social network and established cutting-edge understanding in the macroeconomics of China.
He joined CSOP as the Chief Investment Officer, Head of Equity Investment and the portfolio manager in 2010. Currently he manages the High Dividend Strategy, the Greater China Economy Strategy. In terms of the gross return since inception, the Greater China New Economy Strategy under Zhihua’s management has achieved a 10-year annualised return of over 18%, which is the first place among all the offshore peer funds that track the same benchmark. Prior to joining CSOP, Zhihua worked for 2 years as the Portfolio Manager for CITIC Securities International (Hong Kong). From 1999 to 2007, he was the Portfolio Manager in charge of the largest onshore RMB A-share mutual fund in China with RMB 40 billion in AUM for ChinaAMC. Previous to this position, he served as the Portfolio Manager for Junan Securities.
Zhihua holds an EMBA degree and a Bachelor degree in Economics from Peking University.

Frank Shao Frank Shao, Deputy Head of Equity Investment / Portfolio Manager, CSOP Asset Management
Prior to joining CSOP, Frank worked as an analyst with Morgan Stanley. He joined CSOP in 2013 as a TMT/consumer analyst and became a portfolio manager for segregated accounts in 2018. His performance has been within the top 5% of peers ever since.
Frank holds Master of Science in Finance Degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
