Deborah Gilshan Advisor, Investment Stewardship & ESG, The 100% Club Limited
Deborah provides strategic advice on investment stewardship, ESG integration and diversity. She has 20+ years of experience in the field, the majority of which has been spent working for two asset owners, RPMI Railpen and the UK’s Co-operative Insurance Society and the global asset manager, Aberdeen Standard Investments.
Deborah serves on the Advisory Panel of the UK’s Financial Reporting Council, is an Ambassador for the 30% Club and chairs the Ethics & Systemic Risk Committee of the International Corporate Governance Network. She is a Fellow of ICSA: The Governance Institute and holds the ICSA’s Professional Award in Corporate Governance.
In October 2011, Deborah founded The 100% Club, a multisector alliance dedicated to gender equality, and she also advises the Women Societies Alliance, which seeks to create equal opportunities in the finance industry for female graduates. Deborah is a regular commentator and writer on corporate governance, investment stewardship and diversity and she has been recognised for her work on empowering the female talent pipeline.

Christine Armstrong Author and Researcher
Christine is a researcher, author and vlogger on the future of work. By exploring workplace culture, diversity, work-life balance and remote working, Christine examines the new challenges to the old ways of doing business.
She previously co-founded Jericho Chambers, an early example of flexible and hybrid work. She writes regularly for the Times and Telegraph and is a contributing editor of Management Today.
She is also the author of ‘The Mother of All Jobs: how to have children and a career and stay sane(ish)’, published by Bloomsbury. The book is based on six years of interviews with working parents, employers, leadership experts, and carers. The book was a finalist in the Business Book UK awards 2019.

Chris Pritchard Senior Investment Consultant, Barnett Waddingham
Chris is a Senior Investment Consultant at Barnett Waddingham. He splits his time between advising pension schemes on their investment strategies and heading up the Strategy Research Team.
Chris enjoys advising clients with complex and non-standard problems, using innovative solutions to help those schemes manage the risks they face. His client base includes a number of household names with assets and liabilities in excess of £500m.
Chris’s work as head of the investment team’s Strategy Research Team has helped to provide clients with the very best advice from a strategic perspective. He enjoys researching the more technical aspects of setting and implementing an investment strategy, from asset class specific research to wider considerations around hedging risks at a strategy level. In particular, he has driven the team’s research on long-term strategy considerations and endgame portfolios.
