Richard Tomlinson Richard is Chief investment Officer at Local Pensions Partnership Investments with responsibility for management of all investment and client activity.
Richard has over 19 years of investment experience. Prior to joining LPP in 2017, he was head of portfolio advisory (EMEA) at Albourne Partners for six years where he advised European investors on alternative investments, portfolio construction and risk management. Earlier in his career, Richard was head of multi-strategy at Old Mutual Asset Managers and an analyst at GNI Fund Management.
Richard holds a degree and a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Cambridge and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.

Bob Holloway Bob joined the pension’s team at the Local Government Association in October 2016 after 42 years service with the Department for Local Government and Communities (DCLG) and its various predecessors. His career in the public services began at the then Department of the Environment in 1974. He undertook a variety of jobs before a posting in 1984 to the team responsible for the Local Government Pension Scheme in England and Wales. Bob continued to work with the scheme in various capacities until his retirement from DCLG in 2016. During this time, Bob was responsible for the scheme’s investment regulations and introduced three new sets of regulations. More recently, he was project manager for the new scheme introduced in April 2014 as part of the public service pension reforms under the Public Service Pensions Act 2013. In his present role, Bob is responsible for managing the LGPS’ Scheme Advisory Board and its various sub-committees and supporting the Head of Pensions at the LGA.

Jill Davys Jill recently joined Redington as Head of LGPS to support them with understanding the LGPS landscape and to develop closer relationships with funds and key stakeholders. Jill also works part-time at London Borough of Sutton helping to manage the Fund there.
Jill worked as AD, Investments at the West Midlands Pension Fund, initially covering the broad spectrum of finance and investments for the Fund including investment strategy before moving to focus on responsible investment and investment partnerships.
Previously, working as Head of Financial Services at LB Hackney for 12 years managing all aspects of the Pension Fund and other financial services. She worked closely with others on setting up the investment pooling company, London CIV, before moving to the company as Head of Client Relations.
Previously, Jill worked for over 20 years as a fund manager concentrating mainly on equities but also being involved in strategic asset allocation and derivatives.
