Stephanie Maier Global Head of Sustainable and Impact Investment Governance & Responsible Investment, GAM Investments
Stephanie, Global Head of Sustainable and Impact Investment, is responsible for leading GAM’s sustainable and ESG (environmental, social and governance) strategy. Stephanie joined GAM Investments in January 2021 from HSBC Global Asset Management, where she was Director for Responsible Investment. Prior to that, she spent seven years at Aviva Investors, latterly as Head of Responsible Investment Strategy and Research, and was formerly Head of Research for EIRIS, an ESG research and consultancy firm. Stephanie holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, a BA in Biological Sciences from Oxford University and the Investment Management Certificate (IMC). She is based in London.

Jill Barber Global Head of Institutional Solutions, GAM Investments
Jill, Global Head of Institutional Solutions, joined GAM Investments in November 2020. Before joining GAM, Jill was the Global Head of Institutional at Jupiter Asset Management. Prior to that, Jill was head of institutional for the UK and Ireland at Franklin Templeton Investments and she has also held senior distribution roles at Hermes Fund Management. Jill spent more than 10 years at Fidelity Worldwide Investment in a range of business development and client relationship management positions. Jill holds a postgraduate diploma in European Management from the Royal Holloway University of London and a BA in French from the University of Kent. She is based in London.

Rob Bennett Founder Director, Habitability
Rob is a Founding Director of Habitability and has extensive senior experience over the last 30 years, working for the public and private sectors in the property industry across the UK. Rob's key areas of expertise are economic and property appraisals, market analysis, delivery and funding advice for physical regeneration and growth areas. He has a wide-ranging track record of identifying, initiating, developing, funding and managing major urban regeneration strategies and mixed-use projects. In many instances this has included the evolution of innovative infrastructure and development strategies, establishing delivery mechanisms and structures including public-private joint ventures. Rob also has extensive experience in the appraisal and assessment of large-scale development and regeneration projects, including the preparation of Green Book appraisals and Business Cases for a range of public sector clients.

Philip Jackson Founding Director, Habitability
Philip is a Founding Director of Habitability, a company in the field of development finance and technology for large scale zero carbon housing. Philip is also the founding Director of Daedalus Environmental Limited, which was set up in 2009 to deliver energy and sustainability consultancy to the built environment sector and to develop innovative projects in the low carbon and social economy. Prior to this he was Director of Sustainable Engineering for a UK-wide design consultancy, he managed the delivery of sustainable development targets on major urban extension and regeneration projects across the South East on behalf of the regional development agency, and co-ordinated stakeholder and political engagement projects for the World Wildlife Fund in mainland Europe. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of sustainable design and development, across public and private sectors, in both new build development and the regeneration of existing communities. He works extensively with national scale developers, but also central government, Homes England and other local authorities to identify solutions to complex environmental challenges to the built environment.

Martin Davies President and CEO, Westchester Group Investment ManagementMartin is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Westchester Group Investment Management, an investment specialist of Nuveen. His career in the agricultural industry has included posts within corporate agriculture, consultancy and investment.
Prior to joining Westchester in September 2014 he led the deployment of institutional investors’ capital into farmland in New Zealand, Australia, Romania, Poland and Chile for Bank of New York Mellon’s asset management subsidiary Insight Investment. After 13 years with the Cooperative Group Farms in the UK, his lead into agricultural investing was 5 years spent working on agricultural investment projects for private investors in Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine.

Sophie Ballard Institutional Director, Global Client Group, Nuveen
Sophie is a UK Sales Director at Nuveen Asset Management and part of the Global Client Group. Sophie is responsible for relationships with UK investors and growing the UK institutional business across multiple distribution channels including LGPS, DB and DC pension schemes. She has over a decade of experience in institutional sales, relationship management and strategic account oversight, working with investors across the pension and financial institution client segments. Prior to Nuveen, Sophie held a number of roles at SSGA, where most recently she was responsible for growing the UK DC and strategic partners group. Prior to this, she held relationship management roles in both London and New York.
She also sits on the Returners workstream of the Diversity Project and is involved in a number of initiatives championing women in the workplace. She studied History at the University of Nottingham and is IMC qualified.

Thomas Kieselstein CIO, Managing Partner, Quoniam
Thomas is Co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Quoniam Asset Management. As CIO, he oversees Quoniam’s Equity, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset investment teams. Prior to Quoniam, Thomas Kieselstein worked for DZ Bank and Dresdner Bank Investment Group. He has been developing quantitative investment processes for multi-factor equity strategies since 1994. Thomas obtained his MSc. in Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe.

Jorre Willemse Head of Client Relations International, Quoniam
Jorre, Director, has been a member of the International Client Relations team at the London branch since March 2018. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing at the Institute for Economics and Management in Utrecht, Netherlands, he graduated from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom with a Master’s degree in Management (Merit). He started his professional career in 2007 as a Senior Relationship Manager at Bloomberg. At Standard Life Investment in Edinburgh, UK, Jorre was responsible for the Benelux region in the European Business Development Sales division. Before joining Quoniam, Jorre was Head of European Business Development Managers Sales with Aberdeen Standard Investments.
