Pete Drewienkiewicz Chief Investment Officer, Global Assets, Redington
Pete is Chief Investment Officer for Global Assets at Redington and a voting member of Redington’s Investment Strategy Committee. In this role he advises a range of institutional clients with combined assets of more than £200bn including pension schemes, non-profit institutions, LGPS, insurance companies and wealth managers. Prior to taking up this role in March 2018 Pete led Redington’s Manager Research team since 2011, where he oversaw a team of investment professionals responsible for the selection and monitoring of investment managers across both traditional and alternative asset classes. Before joining Redington, Pete spent 9 years working in fixed income and derivative markets at a number of large investment banks. Pete has a Bsc in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Wayne Fitzgibbon Partner, Mercer
Wayne is Head of Intellectual Capital for UK DB Investment at Mercer. He is a strategic investment adviser to a range of UK defined benefit pension clients with liabilities of £1bn to £5bn. He is Chair of their Investment Ideas Group and is involved in producing intellectual capital on financial markets, risk management (including LDI) and alternative approaches to asset allocation. Wayne was previously Global Head of Fixed Income and Currency at Macquarie Investment Management with offices in Sydney, London, Seoul and Los Angeles. He has managed global fixed income portfolios, led tactical asset allocation teams, and worked as a macroeconomist, specialising in monetary theory and policy.

Neil Bull Investment Consultant, the Pensions Regulator
Neil is an Investment Consultant at the Pensions Regulator, working on both DB and DC schemes as well as policy work. He has been at the Regulator since 2017, after 15 years working for IBM Retirement Funds Europe managing the fixed income assets on behalf of IBM’s European Pension Plans. He is a qualified Actuary and CFA Charterholder. Neil is a leading member of the team which drafted TPR’s first consultation on the new DB funding code of practice and continues to develop the code in more detail.
