Trevor Castledine Trevor is a Managing Director in bfinance’s private markets team, responsible for the research and manager selection functions across private debt.
Before joining bfinance, Trevor was Deputy CIO and the Credit Strategy Investment Director at the UK LGPS pooling entity LPPI, having previously been Deputy CIO at Lancashire County Pension Fund. As a pension fund investor, he had broad responsibility for alternative asset allocations which included Private Credit, Real Estate and Infrastructure.
Whilst at LCPF, Trevor oversaw significant changes in portfolio strategy which included the creation of a ground-breaking £1.5bn allocation to alternative credit and was recognised by numerous industry awards including the Institutional Investor European peer-to-peer award for ‘Best use of Private Markets’. PDI magazine named him as one of the 30 global most influential investors in private debt and he continues to be widely quoted in industry media. Trevor is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds an MA from Cambridge University.

Corrado Pistarino Corrado has over 25 years’ experience in investment banking, asset management and insurance. He is CIO and Chair of the Climate Risk Forum at Foresters Friendly Society.
Corrado has a degree in Physics from Turin University and a Masters in Finance from the London Business School.

Amarik Uhbi Amarik is Global Head of Infrastructure at Mercer based in London. He joined Mercer in 2003. Mr Ubhi leads the global Infrastructure investment team and oversees the sourcing, due diligence and monitoring of infrastructure opportunities as well as the construction of portfolios on behalf of Mercer’s clients. He is a member of Mercer’s Real Assets and Global Impact Investment Commitees and has been in the financial services industry since 2003.
Amarik began his career with Mercer as a consultant, where he was responsible for advising institutional clients on the full range of investment-related issues, including strategy, portfolio construction and implementation. He holds a Master’s degree in economics from the University of Cambridge, UK, and is a CFA® charterholder.
