the latest case studies of de-risking in practice. There will also be some

Speakers
David Collinson
David is Co-Head or Origination at Pension Corporation and is responsible for business development, pricing and management of insurance transactions. David has over 20 years of experience in Pensions and Insurance and has lead a significan number of successful insurance transactions, including the £1.1bn Thorn buy out and the ground breaking £450m Delta pensioner buy-out.
David Dean
David Dean is in charge of a specialist LDI coverage team at Credit Suisse, he has been at the firm since 2009 and prior to that spent 6 years in the same role at Merrill Lynch. David is an expert in liability hedging strategies and their implementation for UK Pension funds.
Dawid Konotey-Ahulu
Hugh Gittings
Hugh is a Senior Associate in Eversheds pension team and he leads Eversheds pensions investment team. Hughs clients include the trustees of the British Airways pension schemes, Cable&Wireless Worldwide, Threadneedle, and General Motors pension schemes, Tyco and Hewlett Packard. Hugh also advises several fund managers including Legal & General and Schroder. Hughs recent work has included advice to both employers and trustees on triennial valuations, advice to trustees on investment issues, and several scheme closure and benefit redesign exercises. Hugh has 11 years experience. He is a regular speaker at pensions industry events and he is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.
Marian Elliot
Marian is a Director of Spence & Partners and heads the Trustee Advisory practice. She has particular expertise in pulling together actuarial, covenant and investment advice to provide funding solutions for clients. Having moved to the UK from South Africa in 2002, Marian has gained significant experience advising both trustees and corporate clients in the UK pensions market in both the public and private sectors. Marian is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and holds a formal Scheme Actuary certificate. She regularly contributes to the press on a range of pensions related topics, enjoys speaking at seminars and writes a column for the FT's SchemeXpert website.
Saker Nusseibh
Saker was appointed CEO of Hermes Fund Managers in May 2012 after joining in June 2009 as a main Board Director and Head of Investment to drive, support and represent the Hermes investment capabilities. He is responsible for ensuring that all of Hermes’ investment capabilities deliver investment excellence and are able to compete at the highest levels in the third party market, as well as playing an integral part in Hermes’ drive to acquire new teams and businesses.
Saker is the Chairman of the 300 club, a group of leading investment professionals from across the globe who have joined together to raise awareness about the potential impact of current market thinking and behaviours, and to call for immediate action. Saker is also a public member of Network Rail.
