John White John joined GLG in March 2004 and is lead Portfolio Manager of the UK Equities Business and The Alpha Select strategies. He is a key member of the Management Committee at GLG and was very much involved in the recent Man Group transaction. Prior to this, John worked for Morgan Stanley from 1999 where he ran the UK trading desk and then the European proprietary trading desk. Before this, he worked for SBC O’Connor from 1991 where he traded UK equities, futures and options. He continued in this role through the mergers of Warburg and UBS before moving to Bankers Trust as Head of European Equity Trading.
