Across mallowstreet, and the
broader pensions industry, there has been considerable discussion about asset
classes that provide opportunities for Growth and/or sources of Yield. In the
current economic environment, where government bonds no longer provide the
yield they once did, and traditional asset classes don’t always produce
adequate returns, how can pension funds find opportunities to combat inflation
or close their deficit?
In response to discussions with
the advisers and trustees on mallowstreet we will be hosting a half day seminar
examining three different, interesting opportunities that offer potential
sources of Growth & Yield. The morning will start with an economic update
to set the scene, then delegates will divide into small working groups that
will rotate around three 35 minute presentations looking at these
opportunities. The morning is then rounded off with a panel discussion looking
back at the themes discussed.
This is a FREE event for pension
fund decision makers and their advisors. Places for this event are strictly
limited so please register your interest below to avoid disappointment.
