University Dinner: Investment in Senior Commercial Real Estate Debt
Cairn Capital Limited, a specialist credit asset management firm,
is pleased to be hosting an Educational Dinner in the 2013 mallowstreet
University Series focusing on investment in senior commercial real estate debt.
Commercial real estate debt has become a focus for pension funds during 2013 as
they look at ways of increasing yield within their fixed income portfolios.
Senior commercial real estate debt offers the opportunity to diversify risk
through investment in an asset that offers a significant degree of capital
protection, decreased sensitivity to the economic cycle and low exposure to
duration risk whilst generating what should be a reliable and stable current
pay income. But what should investors be focused on as they consider
investment into this asset class?
The evening’s discussion will highlight the benefits of investment in senior
commercial real estate debt and the key features of commercial real estate
loans and identify some of the key requirements to successful investment in the
asset class.
This event is free to attend for Trustees and Pension Fund Decision Makers.
