The mallowstreet Credit Drive In

In the hunt for yield, the vast majority of UK pension funds have steadily increased their allocation to credit.  Indeed, by the end of Q1 2014, cumulative flows into credit funds in Europe topped USD20bn. In response, the asset manager community have launched a plethora of products and solutions which encompasses the full spectrum of the credit markets, along with an increased number of infrastructure and emerging market debt funds.

However, the credit cycle creates significant dispersion of returns between various types of credit on offer, and many schemes are now reviewing their overall credit portfolio.

As government bond yields begin to rise across the curve, mallowstreet has gathered together a group of fixed income specialists to review some of the recent developments in both the credit and debt markets and explore their key features.

This half day seminar kicks off with a macro overview of the credit markets followed by an in-depth look at three “on trend” credit opportunities, namely multi-asset credit, high yield credit and emerging market debt.  We then round off the morning with a diverse panel of consultants and pension funds who will share their experiences of investing in and reviewing this asset class.

This is a FREE event for pension decision makers and their advisors.  Places for this event are strictly limited so please register your attendance to avoid disappointment.
