Matthijs Verwiej Matthijs Verwiej is a Senior Client Manager at KAS BANK, where he specialises in working with Dutch pension funds and has final responsibility for all services provided to them. Matthijs has a Masters degree in Macro-Economics from the University of Utrecht, where he specialised in International Economics. During his seven years with KAS BANK Matthijs has worked hand in hand with pension schemes of all sizes to help them not only with their custody but also with administration, overlay, performance and compliance monitoring. He is currently working with his clients to tackle their ESG requirements and is developing sophisticated reporting tools to give these pension funds greater insight into, and control over, the ESG impact of their investments.
