Tim Smith Tim has been with Eversheds since 2011. His role as Senior Associate Professional Support Lawyer involves keeping the Eversheds pension team informed on the latest developments in pensions law and practice. Tim is also responsible for helping to ensure that Eversheds' pensions team is known for its technical excellence and thought leadership.

Andy Dickson Andrew joined Standard Life Investments in 2010, having previously worked for 18 years at Standard Life, where he was responsible for delivering innovative defined contribution pension solutions for some of the UK’s largest employers. Andrew has responsibility for delivering investment solutions to institutional clients that directly benefit both DB and DC pension funds and help clients meet their long-term investment goals. Andrew is a regular contributor in the pension trade press and presenter at leading pension and investment conferences in the UK and overseas.

Ian McQuade Ian is a Director at Muse Advisory and has nearly 30 years’ expertise covering pension scheme management, administration and governance for both DB & DC schemes. He advises Trustees and Companies on a wide range of strategic, operational and governance related issues, including: advising, facilitating and challenging trustees on strategy and business plan development; advising on operational and administration effectiveness; leading clients through the review, selection and implementation of advisers and suppliers to their scheme; supporting trustees review and enhance governance of their DB and DC schemes; leading or supporting the implementation of major pension change projects.

Emma Douglas Emma is Head of DC Distribution with responsibility for developing LGIM's DC investment and bundled business. Emma joined LGIM in 2014 from Mercer where she was a partner and Head of Mercer Workplace Savings. Prior to that, she was Head of DC Sales at BlackRock and Head of DC Pensions at Threadneedle Investments, and has more than 20 years of experience in the investment management industry. Emma graduated from Trinity College, Oxford, and holds an MBA from Manchester Business School via a Women in Management Scholarship from the Guardian. Emma is a member of the NAPF DC Council.

John Reeve John Reeve is a Senior Consultant at Premier. After a long career at a number of the large consultancies John now focuses on helping clients to manage their pension arrangements. He has a particular interest in member service having been a former MD of Administration for one TPA and former chair of Raising Standards of Pensions Administration (now PASA).

Mark Thompson Mark has over 30 years of pensions investment experience. Having worked in a number of senior investment roles for Prudential/M&G for 24 years including being a trustee of the Prudential Staff Pension Scheme, Mark went on to be the CIO of the HSBC UK Pension Scheme (DB and DC) for over eight years. He now has plural investment roles in the pension’s world including working for UBS and Lloyds as well as being a member of the Zurich Independent Governance Committee.
