The London Credit Drive In

With diverging Central Bank Monetary Policies, Credit continues to be at the top of the agenda for many pension funds. As government bond yields begin to fluctuate across the curve, mallowstreet has gathered together a group of fixed income specialists to review some of the recent developments in both the credit and debt markets and explore their key features.

This half day educational seminar starts with a macroeconomic update followed by an in-depth look at three different opportunities within Credit. We then round off the morning with a diverse panel of consultants and pension funds who will share their experiences of investing in and reviewing this asset class.

This is a FREE event for pension decision makers and their advisors. Places for this event are strictly limited so please register your attendance to avoid disappointment.

  3. Overview of the Credit Landscape & Multi Asset Credit

Overview of the Credit Landscape & Multi Asset Credit: In an environment of low yields, a flexible non-benchmarked oriented approach to credit investing, coupled with the ability to invest across the spectrum of credit products, offers opportunities to generate attractive returns.
  4. Rotating Intensive Workshop I: Schroders

A Different Approach to Multi-Asset Credit: If credit markets and spreads are driven by common risk factors, why would a multi-asset credit portfolio make sense? Are loans the holy grail? We suggest taking a slightly different approach in the construction of multi-asset credit portfolios by including less correlated risk in order to build a robust credit portfolio.
  5. Rotating Intensive Workshop II: MacKay Shields

US High Yield: The Road Ahead. There has been much discussion in recent months about the outlook for the US high yield bond market, particularly for the energy and other commodity sectors. Andrew will discuss the US high yield market and describe where MacKay Shields is finding value.

  7. Rotating Intensive Workshop III

What to do when rate expectation rise? Janet Yellen has been warning markets to expect interest rates rises and that the Fed could move quickly.
