Jean-Rene Adam Jean-René Adam works closely with the firm’s Chief Investment Officer in the elaboration of our macro strategy and he is also responsible for managing North American equities. Before joining Hexavest in 2006, Jean-René was Equity Research Associate, Special Situations at National Bank Financial (2004-2005) and Generalist and Equity Research Associate at Desjardins Securities (2002-2004). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce (2000) and a master’s degree in Finance (2001) from Sherbrooke University and he is also a CFA charterholder (2004).

Lucy Macdonald Lucy Macdonald is CIO Global Equities for AllianzGI. She joined to head the Global Equity Fund Management team in 2001. This team is responsible for global mandates from clients around the world, including Global Sustainability and Global Unconstrained portfolios, with currently over $6bn of assets under management. She was instrumental in launching the Global High Alpha product in 2003, now representing over $4.5bn of global equity assets, which she also manages. Lucy is a member of the AllianzGI Global Policy Council, which is responsible for setting company-wide macro-economic and strategic policy. Prior to AllianzGI, Lucy spent 16 years, latterly as a Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, at Baring Asset Management managing High Alpha funds. Lucy graduated from Bristol University in 1984, and is an Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals (ASIP). She was made a Managing Director of AllianzGI in December 2007.

Andrew Parry Andrew oversees the sustainable investment business at Newton, as well as communicating the firm’s approach to purposeful ownership to its global client base. He joined Newton in 2019, prior to which he was head of sustainable investing at Hermes Investment Management where he gained a deep knowledge of responsible investment, sustainability and impact investing. Andrew has over 30-years of investment experience operating at a senior level previously working at Northern Trust, Julius Baer Investment Management, Lazard Brothers Asset Management and Baring Asset Management. Andrew is a volunteer member of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee of the CFA UK and a trustee and member of the investment committee of the Trafalgar House Pension Trust. He also acts as mentor and advisor on a range of sustainability activities.
Andrew has an MA in Mathematics from the University of St Andrews. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys walking his dogs.
