Tim Horne - Schroders Tim Horne, Defined Contribution Investment Solutions Manager, Schroders
Tim joined Schroders in 2011 and is responsible for sales and marketing of Schroders’ DC Solutions to UK defined contribution pension schemes and their consultants.Tim previously worked for Towers Watson, where he provided investment advice to a wide range of corporate DC pension schemes; he was also a member of the multi-asset manager research team. Other previous experience includes working in the DC investment team at Fidelity.

Lydia Fearn - Redington Lydia Fearn, Head of DC and Financial Wellbeing, Redington .
Lydia Fearn recently joined Redington to fill the newly created role of Head of DC and Financial Wellbeing. Lydia came from the Barclays Corporate & Employer Solutions team where she was responsible for creating solutions and leading investment advice to both pension scheme trustees and sponsors. Prior to Barclays, Lydia worked at Lane Clark & Peacock and Aon Hewitt, where she specialised in investment strategy and advice.

Ian Maybury - Independent Trustee Ian Maybury | Citigroup Citi (UK) Pension Plan
Ian is an experienced Trustee and actuary with particular expertise in investment and risk management. Combined with an executive career in insurance at Royal London, banking at Citigroup, investment consulting at Redington and asset management at Schroders, Ian also has significant management level exposure to IT, customer service and change/project management.
As well as an active participation in most aspects of scheme management (including funding and investment strategy/implementation, advisor/supplier selection and management, scheme mergers and de-risking). He has an excellent perspective on insurers, banks and fund managers as providers to pension schemes in the context of buyins/buyouts, investment and de-risking solutions and administration/platform/packaged products.
Ian has a keen interest in the overall governance of DB and DC pension schemes, in particular the interaction with the regulators in both financial services and pensions arenas.
He is combining part time advisory roles at Schroders, and Capita Employee Benefits with a portfolio of Trustee and investment committee roles at Citi, Mineworkers’, RNIB, Reed Elsevier, Unilever and USS.

Nigel Aston - State Street Global Advisors Nigel is a Managing Director of State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) and the Head of UK Defined Contribution. He is responsible for the direction of the UK DC business, part of SSgA’s global DC franchise. He leads on proposition development, strategic marketing and sales. Nigel is a frequent commentator on DC investment issues in the press, as well as being a regular speaker at conferences and in the media. He is the key company DC liaison with industry, government and regulatory bodies and sits on the Pension Management Institute (PMI) External Affairs Committee, Investment Management Association (IMA) DC Pensions Committee and the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA) Global Committee.
Nigel has a strong client service background, as well as extensive experience in leading distribution and marketing teams and driving product design. He has been involved with workplace DC investment products for his whole career and is passionate about helping to give workplace savers a more confident retirement.
Prior to joining SSgA, Nigel was a Director at DCisions, a technology start-up focused on understanding the behaviours and outcomes of DC savers through data analytics. His previous experience includes time as Head of Strategy and Proposition at Standard Life and a number of roles at AXA, including Investment Strategy Director.
