Jon Williams, PwC JON WILLIAMS, PARTNER | SUSTAINABILITY & CLIMATE CHANGE
Jon co-leads the corporate team within PwC’s Sustainability & Climate Change practice, offering market-leading strategy and implementation, risk management and reporting solutions to companies. He has a particular focus on issues relating to climate change, biodiversity, water and poverty alleviation. His clients include financial institutions in both developed and developing economies, and companies in the retail, consumer goods, healthcare, energy and mining sectors.
Prior to joining PwC, Jon worked for HSBC for 21 years, with a variety of banking roles in Europe and Asia, most recently as Head of Group Sustainable Development. Jon developed and implemented HSBC’s sustainability risk strategy and their sustainable business strategy, with a focus on lending and investments related to climate change, forestry and microfinance.
Jon, acts as an Expert Adviser to a major European Bank and the UK Green Investment Bank. He also was a co-chair the Climate Markets & Investors Association (CMIA) and Project Adviser to the World Economic Forum Energy Access Partnership. He previously chaired the Equator Principles, the global benchmark for banks to manage social and environmental issues in project finance, and chaired the Climate Principles, a framework for the finance sector to respond to climate change.

Madeline Forrester, MFS Madeline joined MFS in 2014 as Head of Institutional Business in the UK. Prior to joining MFS, she was Head of UK Institutional Sales at AXA Investment Managers. Madeline spent 14 years at Threadneedle Asset Management where she most recently held the position of Head of Global Institutional Business. Initially joining as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager before heading up insurance asset management. Madeline is a Council Member of the Pensions Policy Institute, she has a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.

Martin Rich, Future Fit Foundation Martin is Chair of the Future-Fit Foundation which he co-founded with Dr. Geoff Kendall in 2013. His principal focus is working with investors and asset owners to start incorporating Future-Fit metrics into their investment decisions, encouraging the creation of more sustainable portfolios.
Prior to this, Martin spent 7 years as Sales Director of Social Finance Limited where he focused primarily on developing the investor base for social impact investments and structuring products to link capital with demand. This included a period serving as a member of the Asset Allocation Working Group for the G8 Social Investment Task Force. He previously spent over 12 years in international investment banking working on structured finance products for UBS Warburg, JPMorgan and HSBC.
Martin has a passion for international development and poverty relief and is engaged in a range of trustee, investment committee and advisory roles. He holds a double-Masters in Engineering from Queens’ College, Cambridge.

Jillian Reid, Mercer Jillian Reid is a Principal in Mercer’s Responsible Investment team, based in London. The team assists investors to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors within their beliefs, policies, processes and portfolios.
Jillian began at Mercer, in Sydney, in January 2004, transitioning to Responsible Investment in late 2011, and to London in late 2014. Prior to her time at Mercer, Jillian spent five years at an Australian multi-manager, after beginning her career teaching high school students.
Jillian was project manager and a core team member for Investing in a Time of Climate Change (2015); was a key contributor to Mercer’s SITA governance tool development in 2014 for sensitive investment topics; she delivered on projects in 2013 for the International Finance Corporation and the Global Investor Coalition on Climate Change; and in 2012 she co-authored Mercer’s First Peoples Settlements Peer Practices Report.
Jillian holds a Master of Development Studies from the University of New South Wales, a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of Education, from the University of Newcastle, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
