What I’ve learned at our most recent Indabas
Pardon the Interruption
This article is just an example of the content available to mallowstreet members.

This year we’ve been using SOFI – mallowstreet’s proprietary AI – at all of our events, and I wanted to share some of our learnings. For those who don’t know, we designed SOFI to help clients save time, check messaging, improve delivery, monitor performance and capture questions. Here are my top three learnings so far:
- Follow-on content: SOFI is amazing at capturing the nuanced points of a presentation and has the ability to capture all of the key points succinctly. It is so powerful that I actually used it to help write my follow up blog
- Iterative feedback: working with our clients, we were able to give them feedback half way through the day on what’s landing (and what’s not), allowing them to recalibrate their presentations. This led to a better day for all involved
- Enhanced engagement: the biggest thing I noticed was that everyone was more engaged. Everyone was paying attention, writing fewer notes, and spending less time looking at phones – people were just focused on the conversation at hand. It was powerful to witness.
After the most recent event, all in attendance received a summary and SOFI’s analysis of each session they attended. I’ve found that in the past week I’ve already referenced my SOFI analysis from the Indaba three times. Incredibly powerful from just one session – imagine having this in every meeting. Want to learn about SOFI? Drop me a message. I’m happy to tell you more.
