Mark Parry Principal, Head of Manager Research Team, Barnett Waddingham LLPMark leads the Manager Research Team working closely with consultants. His team provides clients with the resources to help them make investment decisions that are aligned to their investment strategy.
A senior investment professional with over 20 years’ experience as a multi asset and fixed interest fund manager, Mark has the knowledge and expertise to assist clients with the information and support they need.
Mark is part of the research leadership team, so has a firm-wide view of research across different areas. This enables him to identify and develop research opportunities that are likely to benefit clients.
Mark has wide ranging experience of strategic and tactical asset allocation, fund and manager selection, portfolio construction and risk management, along with macroeconomic and asset class research.
He graduated with a degree in Economics and Computing and has held a variety of fund manager roles in fixed interest and multi asset at various investment and asset management companies.
Mark has worked with a range of pension funds, charities, family offices, and sovereign and supranational entities, to manage risk and return, and implement new strategies.

Rob Perrone Investment Counsellor, Orbis Investments
Rob joined Orbis in 2011 following the completion of his degrees. He is an investment counsellor and a member of Orbis’ multi-asset team. Since 2012, he has been a specialist on the Orbis Japan Equity Strategy.
Rob has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (Carnegie Mellon University), Master of Arts (Carnegie Mellon University), and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Nicola Dormehl Investment Counsellor, Orbis Investments
Nicola joined Orbis in 2015 and is a member of the team of investment counsellors, which is responsible for servicing Orbis’ institutional clients and investment consultants. Her responsibilities include servicing clients and consultants, and investment communications with a focus on Orbis’ Multi-Asset strategies. She previously worked as a business analyst at Allan Gray Proprietary Limited.
Nicola has a Bachelor of Commerce (Cum Laude) in Economics, Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Financial Economics and Investment Management (Cum Laude) from the University of the Free State.

Fionn O’Leary Senior Portfolio Manager, Head of European Trading, Coolabah Capital Investments
Fionn joined Coolabah in 2023 as a Senior Portfolio Manager in London. He has an extensive background, having spent a significant portion of his career at Deutsche Bank, where he began in 2002. During his tenure, Fionn managed a €16 billion portfolio through the Global Financial Crisis and Eurozone crisis. In 2013, he was appointed Head of Financials, Sovereigns & Credit Index Trading, leading a team of 18. Fionn later joined Brevan Howard Asset Management in 2015-2016, where he established a credit trading business.
He holds an MSc in Financial Mathematics (with Distinction) from the Heriot-Watt University and a BSc in Mathematics & Applied Mathematics from University College Cork.

Mary Murphy Global Head of Institutional, Pacific Asset Management
Mary is a Partner and Head of Pacific's Global Institutional business. She joined from GAM, where she served as Head of Global Consultant Relations. Before that, she was at BlackRock, where she held the position of Head of UK Investment Consultant Strategy within their Global Consultant Relations (EMEA) team. Mary has also held sales roles at Deutsche Asset Management and State Street Global Advisors.
She holds a Higher Diploma in Business Studies from the Michael Smurfit Business School at University College Dublin and a BA in Economics & Politics from University College Dublin.

Chris Elliot Portfolio Manager, Evenlode Investments
Chris joined Evenlode in 2015 as an Investment Analyst. In 2017 he became the co-manager on Evenlode's Global Equity Income strategy and in 2020 fund manager on the Global Equity Growth strategy. Previously he worked at the Oxford University Press as a software engineer and completed all his CFA exams whilst working there.

Malcolm Arthur Director, Spring Capital Partners
Malcolm is a Director, and a Founder of Spring Capital. He is responsible for day-to-day management of the business together with Justin, focused on client service, operations and marketing. He also manages a number of key client relationships. Prior to starting Spring he worked at GT Management and Invesco where he was on the sales team, covering clients in the UK, Middle East and Africa.
He enjoys playing golf, tennis, skiing and going to the opera.

Fadrique Balmaseda Investment Director, White Oak Investors
Fadrique is responsible for covering Consumer Discretionary, Industrials and Metals & Mining. He has over ten years of experience in investment management. Prior to joining White Oak, Fadrique worked as Portfolio Manager at Chronos Global Equity, focusing on globally listed equities. Before that, Fadrique was at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in London, where he worked as an Equity Analyst for Goldman’s Emerging Markets Equity Team. He holds a double degree in Law and Business administration from ICADE University in Madrid.

Ben Hayward MD, Head Distribution, Europe (ex-DACH) & The Americas, White Oak Capital Management
Based out of London, Ben is responsible for commercial activities & distribution at Whiteoak for the UK, Europe (ex-DACH) and the America’s. With 10 years professional experience, Ben started his career at Fidelity International in a number of different distribution focused roles before moving to lead sales in the UK & Nordics for UTI International, India’s oldest asset manager. Ben is also host of the award winning Inside India and India Unveiled Podcast’s.
