Fiona Smith Head of Responsible Investment - Smart Pension
Fiona heads the responsible investment strategy for Smart Pension’s £6bn+ master trust. She recognises how impact investing can be a key opportunity for pension schemes to get good member outcomes. Fiona participates in various industry working groups, collaborative engagements and roundtables, striving for ESG progress and helping to tackle industry challenges.

Jeroen Bos Global Head of Equity - AXA Investment Managers
Jeroen is responsible for its full range of equity solutions including its Sustainable, Impact and ESG Integrated solutions, across regions and investment styles. Prior to his role at AXA he was the Global Head of Sustainable Investing at Credit Suisse Asset Management, responsible for the firm’s sustainability activities including policies & regulation, ESG data & infrastructure, engagement & voting, Sustainable labels & product development, sustainability research and ESG integration practises. Prior to his role at Credit Suisse, Jeroen was the Head of Equities & Responsible Investing at NN Investment Partners and part of its Management Team Investments. Before that he worked as a Director at UBS in New York and a Vice President at JPMorgan in London. He started his career at MeesPierson in Amsterdam in 1999 where he was a Senior Equity Analyst.
In addition to his role at AXA, Jeroen sits on the Investment Committee of the Rail & Public Transport Pension fund in the Netherlands, is a Board Member of the Work with Nature Foundation, sits on the Advisory Board of Nyenrode SPO Pension Education and was a member of CFA Institute’s Global ESG Working Group. In the ’13-‘21 period Jeroen was also a Board Member of CFA Society Netherlands. Lastly, he is a regular guest lecturer at a range of universities globally.
Jeroen holds a degree in Economics from the Free University of Amsterdam (VU). In addition, Jeroen is a CFA Charterholder and holds the CAIA, CMA, CFA ESG, CFA Climate and Certified Pension Executive (CPE) certifications. Lastly, Jeroen completed INSEAD’s International’s Directors Program and Harvard’s Investment Management Program.

Claudia Sanchez Sales and Client Relations Manager - AXA Investment Managers
Claudia is responsible for managing and developing institutional client relationships in the UK and Nordic region. She began working in the investment industry in 2007. Prior to joining AXA IM in 2023, she held various business development and management roles at Alliance Bernstein. Claudia holds an MSc in Development Studies from the University of London and a BA in Economics and International Affairs from James Madison University, Virginia, USA.

Jérôme Kamm Vice President, Direct Equity Investments - Hamilton Lane
Jérôme is a Vice President on the Direct Equity Investment team, based in London. He works on the origination, evaluation and due diligence of direct equity opportunities, with a focus on Impact transactions, which he leads in EMEA. He sits as a board observer for several of Hamilton Lane's direct equity investments across business services, environmental & industrial technology and healthcare sectors.
Jérôme is a member of the Responsible Investment Committee. He has also sat on the cross-investment team Sustainable Taskforce (2023-2024). He regularly represents Hamilton Lane as a speaker, particularly on technology and climate investment topics.
Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2017, he worked at HSBC and Greenhill & Co.
Jérôme received a B.A. in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford.

Ben Edwards Principal, Client Solutions - Hamilton Lane
Ben is a Principal in the Client Solutions Group, responsible for U.K. institutional investors and their advisers, based in the firm’s London office.
Before joining Hamilton Lane in 2022, Ben was at GAM leading the U.K. institutional business. Prior to this he was an Executive Vice President at PIMCO leading the U.K. and Ireland institutional client group. He started his career at Citi Corporate & Investment Banking covering European Corporate clients.
Ben received an M.Sc. in Finance from London Business School and received a First-Class Honours B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations. He is a trustee of the Florence Nightingale Foundation.

Nigel Purves CEO & Co-founder - Wayhome
Nigel, Co-founder and CEO of Wayhome, is a seasoned leader with a background in strategy consulting and start-up ventures. In 2016, he co-founded Wayhome, a UK-based company that pioneered the Gradual Homeownership (GHO) concept. In 2019, Nigel assumed the role of CEO and has since delivered significant growth for the company.
Under his leadership, Wayhome established a multi-year partnership with Allianz Global Investors, secured a £75m anchor investment from UK pension funds, and attracted over £20m in additional company investment. Before founding Wayhome, Nigel worked at OC&C Strategy Consultants, advising FTSE 100 firms and collaborating with private equity and corporate clients on strategic M&A transactions.
Nigel also serves as the Chair of the Homeownership Funding Association, where he bridges the alternative homeownership financing sector with the UK government. This influential position allows him to shape policies that promote accessible and sustainable homeownership options. Nigel holds a BA (Hons) and an MPhil from Queens' College at the University of Cambridge.

Stephen Hughes Head of Risk and Asset Management - Venn PartnersAs the Head of Risk and Asset Management Stephen works across all business lines of Venn. Venn is a specialist investment manager in the residential sector within the UK and select European countries. His remit covers the Affordable Housing and Private Rental Sector government loan guarantee schemes which have a combined funding limit of £9.5bn, as well investments through our operating partners, Stride Up, a UK originator of Sharia compliant mortgages, and Venn Hypotheken who originate for the Dutch Cartesian RMBS programme, and acting in a portfolio management capacity for the HEIF, a fund that holds gradual home ownership assets operated by Wayhome.
Stephen has over 18 years of credit experience working in senior positions across the Structured Finance teams at Fitch, Moody’s and most recently at KBRA where he was Head of European CRE, CMBS and loan ratings. He holds a Master’s in Real Estate and a degree in Economics.

Richard Kelly Managing Director and Co-Lead of Foresight Natural Capital - Foresight
Richard joined Foresight in 2015 and is a Managing Director focused on sustainable real estate, forestry and natural capital.
He is primarily responsible for investment strategy and has spearheaded the direct origination campaign for off-market afforestation land. He has over 16 years’ experience in finance, has led the origination, development and launch of four innovative new strategies (attracting c.£1.5 billion of investment).
Prior to Foresight, Richard worked at Accenture as a Strategy Manager where he focused on merger and acquisition strategy across a variety of industries. Richard holds a BA in Business Management from Exeter University.
