Dawid Konotey-Ahulu CBE DL Co-Founder of mallowstreet
Dawid is a serial entrepreneur, having co-founded Redington and mallowstreet with Robert Gardner. Dawid remains involved in mallowstreet as a Board Director.
Most recently Dawid co-founded The #10000BlackInterns programme with Jonathan Sorrell (President of Capstone Investment Advisers), Michael Barrington-Hibbert (founder of Barrington-Hibbert Associates), and Wol Kolade (Managing Partner of Livingbridge), the group which founded #100BlackInterns in August 2020.
Through the #100BlackInterns initiative, leading players in the investment management industry have come together to address the chronic underrepresentation of Black talent in that sector. Since its launch, the programme has garnered extraordinary support with 200 investment management companies offering internships in the Summer of 2021 to Black students in the United Kingdom as a way of attracting a more diverse range of talent to their industry.
Following the launch of #100BlackInterns, the #10000BlackInterns initiative has been designed to help transform the horizons and prospects of young Black people in the United Kingdom. The 10,000 Black Interns programme will offer paid work experience across a wide range of sectors, providing training and development opportunities and creating a sustainable cycle of mentorship and sponsorship for the Black community.

Matthew Roberts Partner, Head of Alternative Solutions, Fulcrum Asset Management
Matthew Roberts is Head of Fulcrum Alternative Solutions, a team established to solve some of the historical challenges associated with investing in Alternative asset classes for pensions schemes (particularly DC), endowments & foundations and wealth managers.
He is also Chair of Fulcrum's Responsible Investment Committee. Before joining Fulcrum in 2018 to lead Fulcrum Alternative Solutions, Matthew was a Portfolio Manager for the Towers Watson Partners Fund since 2014 and before that a manager researcher in fixed income, hedge funds and other alternatives since 2005.
Matthew holds a BSc in Economics and Finance (2005) from University of Bristol. He has been a CFA charterholder since 2009.

Steve Charlton Managing Director Defined Contribution EMEA and Asia, SEI Master TrustSteve joined SEI in 2017 as SEI’s Defined Contribution Managing Director for EMEA & Asia. In his role, he is responsible for building upon the success of SEI’s UK DC proposition across global markets. Steve has 35 years’ experience in the pensions industry, with a particular expertise in defined contribution plans. He joined SEI from Vanguard Asset Management where he was their defined contribution manager for Europe. Prior to Vanguard, Steve had a 20-year career in consulting working for Mercer, Punter Southall, and Towers Perrin.

Jenny Davidson Trustee Executive, BESTrustees
Jenny joined BESTrustees in 2020, bringing with her a 37-year career in Pensions and HR, including 13 years as group reward director for companies across the IT, Telecoms, and Retail sectors. She has worked closely with Board Directors and Remuneration Committees of FTSE100 and FTSE250 companies to shape reward strategies covering benefits, pensions, and wellbeing.
Jenny also has experience as an employer-nominated trustee on two large DB/DC hybrid pension schemes, giving her a strong understanding of the challenges in balancing trustee board requirements with business needs and resolving potential conflicts of interest. She is currently a Trustee on the Aon Master Trust and holds several sole trustee appointments.

Kirsty McLay Senior Consultant, Aon
Kirsty is a Senior Consultant in Aon’s DC Consulting Team. Joining Aon in 2018, she has experience advising both trustees and companies on matters including scheme design, investment strategy, transition management, communications and manager research.
Kirsty is also part of Aon’s DC Responsible Investment Team, Corporate Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) Team and Corporate Investment Research Team working to develop Aon’s latest thinking and propositions.
Kirsty is a CFA charterholder and studied Actuarial Science at Herriot Watt University.

Nigel has been building and growing DC Investment businesses for his whole career. This has spanned some of the biggest asset managers and providers in the world, all the way down to start-ups.
He still hasn’t got it exactly right – but he is trying.
