Anthony O'Brien Head of Market Strategy, Phoenix Group
Anthony joined the Phoenix Group in April 2021 as Head of Market Strategies. The Market Strategy Team formulates baseline views on the macro environment and implications for Phoenix Asset Management investment strategies.
Prior to joining Phoenix, Anthony was the European Rates was Currency Strategist at First Sentier Investors for five years for their global unconstrained fixed income funds.
Preceding that, Anthony held various roles at Morgan Stanley for 18 years, including derivative trading and latterly Co-Head of European Interest Rate Strategy. He also worked at Barclays Capital for four years as the UK rates and derivatives strategist.

Mark Watts Partner, LCP
As a Partner in LCP’s investment team, Mark supports the provision of investment solutions for our clients as they grapple with the energy transition and the path to net zero. He and the team work to ensure seamless advice is offered to clients to help them navigate the critical issues and deploy their capital effectively.
Although he has a technical background, he enjoys busting through the jargon to explain complex financial issues in a digestible manner. Having managed money over a number
of economic cycles globally, his advice to clients is based on first-hand experience of managing money in both rising and falling rate environments.
During his career he has had the pleasure of living and working in both the US and the Middle East and has held CIO and CEO roles in a number of firms and served on a number of boards.

Albane Poulin Head of Private Credit, Gravis Capital
Albane oversees activities in private credit across existing funds GCP Infrastructure Investments and GCP Asset Backed Income, as well as leading new strategies in this asset class.
Albane joins from abrdn where she was Head of European Private Placements. She was responsible for the origination and underwriting of new transactions, as well as monitoring of existing private placement investments across the different portfolios. She was also the lead fund manager on a number of Multi-Sector Private credit funds investing in a range of private credit asset classes including Private Placement, Infrastructure Loans and Commercial Real Estate Debt. Prior to abrdn, Albane worked at Insight Asset Management as a credit analyst covering Utilities and Transportation. Albane has 17 years of experience in credit markets.
She has a Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Bordeaux (France).

Cameron Gardner Director - Head of Distribution, Gravis Capital
Cameron is a Director at Gravis and is Head of Distribution. She is a member of the Responsible Investment Committee.
She joined Gravis in April 2019 from Neptune Investment Management, where she was responsible for covering the Southwest, Midlands and Wales. Prior to that Cameron worked at Ardevora Asset Management where she supported the Head of Institutional clients.
Cameron graduated with a degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge and holds the Investment Management Certificate.

Matt Hansford Head of Europe, Portfolio Finance, Barings
Matt is European Head of Barings Portfolio Finance. He was previously European Head of Direct Private Investments at MassMutual where he led a team originating, structuring, executing, and managing investment grade portfolio and GP financing transactions. Prior to joining MassMutual, Matt spent ten years at Investec Plc where he was a founding member of the Fund Finance team and Head of Origination and NAV Financing. At Investec, Matt deployed bank and institutional investor capital into GP and Fund Finance solutions. Prior to that, Matt was at Barclays, investing in senior and subordinated credit. Matt graduated from Loughborough University with a MEng in Aeronautical Engineering and is an Associate of Corporate Treasurers.

Thomas Lowton Senior Director, UK Institutional Sales, BaringsThomas Lowton is a member of Barings’ Global Business Development Group and is responsible for managing relationships with institutional clients and investment consultants. Thomas has worked in the industry since 2012. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, he was at Legal and General Investment Management where he was responsible for a portfolio of strategic clients while specializing in fixed income and de-risking strategies. Thomas holds Bachelor and Master degrees from Durham University and is a member of the CFA Institute.
