Leonardo Gonzalez Interim Head of Asset Management Sales UK
Leonardo joined Berenberg in 2023 and is Interim Head of Asset Management Sales (UK) responsible for building and fostering relationships with institutional investors, investment consultants and professional trustees. Leonardo has 15 years of experience in asset management within the UK institutional space, he was previously at Janus Henderson Investors where he was a client director and he spent several years at Alliance Bernstein and Newton Investment Management in client-facing institutional roles.
Leonardo holds a Master’s degree in Globalisation & International Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics, he is a holder of the Investment Management Certificate and the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.

Philipp Loehrhoff Head of Multi Asset Solutions
Philipp joined Berenberg in 2021 as Portfolio Manager and heads the Multi Asset Solutions team. He has over a decade experience working with institutional investors to structure, develop and place bespoke hedging and investment solutions. He is an expert for quantitative investment strategies as well as multi asset solutions with a particular focus on equity and fixed income. He spent several years at Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas and Natixis in London.
Philipp holds a Master‘s degree in Finance and Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Phoebe Nguyen Phoebe Nguyen is Head of UK Asset Management Sales at Berenberg. Phoebe’s primary focus is on fostering and strengthening relationships with UK pension funds, with specific focus on the Defined Contribution (DC) market, as well Investment Consultants, Local Government Pension Schemes, Insurers and Charities. Phoebe was most recently at BlackRock leading UK Institutional DC covering institutional clients and consultants. Prior to this Phoebe held positions at Aegon (following its acquisition of BlackRock’s DC business), WestLB (with roles in Business Development & Sales, Derivatives Trading and Structured Finance) and Westpac Institutional Bank in Australia. Phoebe holds a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney and majored in Economics and Honours in English Literature.
