Russell Chapman Partner - Hymans Robertson
Russell is a partner and investment consultant based in our London office. He joined Hymans Robertson in 2003, and has over 25 years experience in the investment industry.
Russell advises a wide range of trustee and corporate clients on all investment matters, and he has a particular passion for helping clients to develop their strategic objectives and priorities, manage risk, and implement cashflow and liability driven investment solutions.
In his role as Head of Investment Risk Transfer, he heads up a team that helps clients to manage and reshape their portfolios ahead of an insurance transaction, incorporating managing illiquid assets, trading into price locks and the transition of assets to insurers.
He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Rob Price Senior Portfolio Manager - AXA Investment Managers
Robert Price is a Senior Portfolio Manager in our London Buy and Maintain Credit team. He focuses on the design, implementation, and ongoing management of long-term credit and cashflow solutions, with responsibility for managing credit portfolios on behalf of some of the largest pension schemes in the UK. Rob has over 10 years’ experience working with UK Pension schemes on their investment strategies, in both asset management and as an investment consultant. Rob joined AXA IM in 2013 as a solutions Manager, working closely with pension schemes and their advisors to design derivative-led investment strategies such as hedging and overlay solutions, before moving to the Buy and Maintain Credit team following the development and growth in Cashflow Driven Investment (CDI) strategies. Prior to AXA IM, Rob worked at KPMG Investment Advisory as an Investment Consultant, advising trustees and sponsors of UK defined benefits pension plans on investment strategy, with a focus on asset liability modelling and liability driven investing. Rob holds a degree in mathematics from the University of Cambridge and is a qualified actuary.

Claudia Sanchez Sales and Client Relations Manager - AXA Investment Managers
Claudia Sanchez Buenaventura is responsible for managing and developing institutional client relationships in the UK and Nordic region. She began working in the investment industry in 2007. Prior to joining AXA IM in 2023, she held various business development and management roles at Alliance Bernstein. Claudia holds an MSc in Development Studies from the University of London and a BA in Economics and International Affairs from James Madison University, Virginia, USA.

Samuel Foster Product Strategist - PIMCO
Samuel is a vice president and a product strategist in the London office, focusing on PIMCO’s alternative investment strategies. He joined PIMCO in 2018. He has seven years of investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Bath. He is a CFA charter holder.

Sophie Florentin-Siu, CFA Senior Vice President, Institutional Account Manager - PIMCO
Sophie is a Senior Vice President and Account Manager in the London office, covering UK institutional client relationships. Previously, she was an account manager on the EMEA global wealth management team, focused on UK wealth managers and sub-advised relationships. From 2013–2014, she was in the Hong Kong office, covering institutional client relationships in Asia. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2010, she was a credit derivatives analyst at Wells Fargo Asset Management. She has 15 years of investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Nottingham. She is currently a trustee of the Malaika Kids UK charity and is a CFA charterholder.

Sammy Cooper-Smith Head of Business Development - Rothesay
Sammy is head of the Rothesay Life business development team. He started his career at Prudential before leaving to join the buy-out start up Paternoster which was acquired by Rothesay Life in 2011. At Rothesay Life Sammy has played a lead role in transactions with the pension funds of National Grid, telent, Asda and Allied Domecq amongst others as well as the reinsurance of the Prudential, Zurich Assurance and Aegon annuity portfolios.

Roisin O'shea Business Development - Rothesay
Roisin has spent most of her career focused on pension de-risking and has worked on a wide range of transactions both at Rothesay and also during her time in Aviva and Legal & General’s bulk annuity teams. She is a is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and has received the Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary accreditation.
