Mark Watts Partner - LCP
As a partner in LCP’s investment team, Mark supports the provision of investment solutions for LCP’s clients as they grapple with the energy transition and the path to net zero. He works closely with the LCP Delta team to ensure seamless advice to clients and help them navigate critical issues and deploy their capital effectively.
Mark has worked with clients around the world, including pension funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Central Banks, Family Offices, Insurance Companies, Endowments, and Corporates. Having managed money over a number of economic cycles globally, his advice to clients is based on first-hand experience of managing money in both rising and falling rate environments.
He has lived and worked in the US and the Middle East and held CIO & CEO roles in several firms. Mark has served on numerous Boards and chaired the Risk & Audit Committee and the Responsible Investment Working Group of the FCA’s DB & DC Pension Plans.

Kunal Shah Co-head - Brightwood
Kunal is the Co-head of origination on the Investment Team at Brightwood Capital, a U.S. focused private credit firm based in New York. Prior to joining Brightwood in 2014, he was at Solar Capital, where he focused on originating, executing, and managing debt financings to U.S. middle market companies.
Prior to joining Solar Capital, he was an Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group at Merrill Lynch, where he worked on the diligence, structuring, and underwriting of debt financings.
Kunal has a B.S. from the University of Southern California.

Guinevere Taylor Head of UK Capital Formation - BrightwoodGuinevere joined Brightwood in late 2024 to lead their capital raising and client servicing in the UK and Europe. Prior to joining Brightwood Guinevere was briefly at Cardano as their Head of LGPS Relationships. Before this she spent 6 years at RBC BlueBay Asset Management in their EMEA Distribution Team, leading their strategy within the LGPS space. Guinevere has also worked at LGIM and Schroders in similar client facing roles. Guinevere has a BA Hons degree in History from Liverpool University and holds the CFA ESG qualification.

Clive Broadhurst Portfolio Director - Frontier Development Capital (part of Mercia Asset Management)
Clive is a highly experienced finance professional who leads the management of FDC’s UK-wide portfolio of SME investments. As Portfolio Director, he oversees investment performance, risk management and investor reporting, while working closely with portfolio companies to drive growth and enhance capital value.
Since joining FDC in 2012, Clive has played a key role in structuring and delivering a wide range of debt and equity investments. His deep sector knowledge and strategic insight have been instrumental in shaping the portfolio’s success.
Clive is a Qualified Chartered Accountant, having trained with PwC and brings a strong foundation of financial discipline and commercial acumen to his leadership.

Dean Heaney Head of Institutional Sales and Distribution - Mercia Asset ManagementDean joined Mercia in 2025 to lead its institutional distribution strategy, with a focus on building strong relationships with pension schemes, insurers, and financial institutions. He has over 20 years of experience in asset management, including senior roles at Franklin Templeton, Invesco, and Royal London Asset Management.
At Mercia, Dean is responsible for shaping and executing the firm’s engagement with institutional investors, helping to align Mercia’s private market capabilities with long-term client objectives. He holds a degree in International Business and Finance and is an IMC holder.

Sara Suleiman Director, UK Institutional, Global Client Group - Barings
Sara is a member of Barings’ Global Business Development Group and is responsible for managing relationships with institutional clients and investment consultants in the U.K. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, she spent four years at J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank, where she was responsible for building relationships with strategic clients and providing customised solutions. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manchester.

Joseph Plank Managing Director, Senior Originator - Barings
Joseph is a Managing Director in Barings’ Global Private Finance Group. Based in London, he is responsible for originating, executing, and monitoring European private finance investments. Joseph has worked in the industry since 2010 and most recently as a senior originator on Ardian’s private credit team. There, he originated and executed debt facilities for mid-market European sponsor-backed borrowers and was responsible for the end-to-end investment process, including origination, execution, monitoring, and work-out. Prior to that, he worked at GE Capital and SMBC following its acquisition of GE Capital, holding a range of roles including senior originator with a focus on UK, Benelux, and the Nordics. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English from the University of Leeds.
