Dawid Konotey-Ahulu CBE DL Co-founder, mallowstreet
Dawid is Co-founder of Redington, mallowstreet and 10,000 Interns – a charitable foundation arranging internships for undergraduates either of Black heritage or those with a disability.
Dawid qualified as a barrister in 1987 and then spent 16 years in investment banking. He was named Black British Business Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018 and was on the Prime Minister’s Business Council 2022. Later that year, he was awarded a CBE in the New Year Honours List.
Dawid is passionate about mentoring young people and helping them learn to speak confidently in public so that they can tell their story and ‘hold the room spellbound’. Heis also on the Boards of several charitable organisationsincluding Mission 44 and Somerset House.

Colin Standish Co-head of Equities, West Yorkshire Pension Fund
Colin’s career in pensions spans 30 years and began at GMPF in 1993. He joined WYPF in 2000, managing part of the UK equity portfolio, before moving across to managing the North American portfolio in 2008. In 2014, he was promoted to Head of Overseas equities with responsibility for other areas including bonds and treasury. Today, Colin is Co-head of Equities and directly runs the North American portfolio worth over £3.5bn.
