Aileen Mathieson Interim Chief Investment Officer, Pension Insurance Corporation
Aileen joined PIC in June 2026. Prior to that Aileen was Group CIO of Aspen Insurance, based across UK, Bermuda and the US.
She brings more than 30 years of experience as a finance leader in a number of industry sectors, including more than 17 years in financial services and investments. Aileen is also an Advisory Board member of Rewired Earth. Prior to Aspen, Aileen served at Aberdeen Standard Investments where she was Global Head of Insurance and at Zurich UK between 2014 and 2019 where Aileen was Chief Investment Officer and Head of Wealth Management. During her career, Aileen also held senior finance roles at Nucleus Financial Group plc, Standard Life Group, Diageo plc and EMI Music. Aileen started her career at KPMG and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (Scotland) and Chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Kyle Audley Senior Investment Manager, Structured Credit & Alternatives, Standard Life
Kyle is a Senior Investment Manager within Private Markets at Standard Life, focussed on the origination and structuring of securitised and structured credit opportunities for the shareholder annuity portfolio. This includes the structuring and origination of private securitisation and portfolio financing structures, supporting the bulk and individual annuity propositions with MA-eligible investments, and credit-enhanced structures facilitating larger institutional deployment in EM and other wider sectors.
Previously, he led development of innovative new asset strategies and transaction formats for the annuity portfolio; focussing on structured credit and long-dated real estate opportunities. He is a qualified actuary, and previously held roles focused on asset-liability management, and Market and Credit capital modelling.

Ying Ye Chief Investment Officer, Allianz UK
Ying is Chief Investment Officer of Allianz Holdings plc, leading the investment and treasury functions of Allianz’s general insurance business in the UK. Her remit spans asset-liability management (ALM), asset allocation, manager selection and investment operations. In addition to her CIO responsibilities, she led the sponsor side of the company’s defined benefit pension scheme buy-in. She has also represented the Allianz Group in two ESG-related initiatives: the Investor Leadership Network and the Sustainable Markets Initiative.
Before moving to London in 2015, Ying was an investment manager at Allianz Investment Management in Munich. She was responsible initially for the investment strategies of group companies in Central & Eastern Europe and subsequently for the UK, Ireland, and Australia. Ying joined the Allianz group’s investment management arm in Singapore in 2009, where she worked as a fixed income analyst with a focus on China macro research and supervised the investment of insurance assets in China, Singapore, and Japan. She has an MSc in Management from Lancaster University and a Certificate in Management from London Business School.

Sally Bridgeland Chair, Development Bank of Wales; Intact UK
Sally is an Actuary with pensions and investment experience as an Adviser, Trustee, and Non-executive Director. Sally is Chair at the Development Bank of Wales and at BelleVie Care and a Non-executive Director at insurer Intact UK (previously RSA). Her non-executive portfolio has included risk and investment roles at Pension Insurance Corporation, the Nuclear Liabilities Fund, the Lloyds Bank pension schemes and as chair of the local government pensions pools, LPPI and Brunel. She was CEO of the BP Pension Scheme in the interesting years of 2007-14 after 20 years with Aon Hewitt working as a pensions consultant and in investment research and innovation. Sally chairs the Strategic Advisory Board for the Centre for Mathematical Cognition at Loughborough University and is an Honorary Group Captain with 601 Squadron RAuxAF.
