James leads the development of Aviva Investors’ institutional strategy across the UK, aligning regional initiatives with the firm’s global growth objectives.
James joined Aviva Investors from Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where he was responsible for business development across UK Corporate Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension schemes.

Andrew Lennox Senior Portfolio Manager, Federated Hermes
Andrew joined in April 2018 and has 25 years’ experience working in financial services, of which 20 years has been in managing structured finance as a portfolio manager. In his role, he is responsible for structured credit investments across multi-asset credit portfolios. Prior to joining, Andrew was the lead portfolio manager for European ABS at BlackRock. Prior to BlackRock, Andrew was the lead portfolio manager for ABS at ECM (European Credit Management, subsequently part of Wells Fargo Asset Management) where he managed a team of specialists managing dedicated structured credit funds and allocations within wider multi-asset credit funds. Andrew started his career in financial services at Goldman Sachs in London where he worked alongside the European and emerging markets equities trading desks. He holds an MA in Modern and Medieval Languages from Cambridge University.

Douglas Anderson Director of International Consultant Relations, Federated Hermes
Douglas joined in February 2017 as Head of Consultant Relations. Prior to this, he was a consultant relations manager at Lazard Asset Management Limited for five years from 2011 and at Capital International for 11 years from 2000. He has also worked in consultant and actuarial roles at Bacon & Woodrow (now Aon Hewitt) and Hymans Robertson. Douglas holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) qualification and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of St Andrews.

Scott Thompson Head of Institutional UK, Ireland & Channel Islands & Consultant Relations,Impax Investment Management
Scott is responsible for Impax Asset Management’s UK client groups and consultant relationships outside of North America. Scott joined Impax in 2015 having worked as an adviser for Craigmore Sustainable where he was responsible for sustainable investments focused on agriculture and forestry.
Prior to this, he served at ETF Securities as Co-Head of European Sales. Scott has also held senior trading roles at J.P Morgan and UBS.
An Oxford graduate with a master’s degree in Geography, with a focus on climate modelling, Scott also holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Liam Moore Fixed Income, Portfolio Specialist, Impax Investment Management
Liam is a Portfolio Specialist for the Europe and APAC distribution team, working closely with the Fixed Income Investment team across all of Impax’s credit strategies.
Prior to joining Impax in 2025, Liam was a member of J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Global Fixed Income team, working on the platform’s flagship unconstrained fixed income strategies. He also played a key role in the development, launch and growth of two sustainable strategies, including a green, social & sustainable bond strategy. Before J.P. Morgan, Liam spent 7 years as a British Army officer, serving in the Royal Artillery and completing operational deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq.
Liam is a CFA Charterholder and has a degree in English from the University of Southampton.

Kelly Tran Managing Director – Institutional Sales, MFS Investment Management
Kelly, CFA, is managing director of UK & Ireland at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). In this role, she is responsible for new business development for the institutional business across defined benefit clients, defined contribution clients and consultant relations.
She is based in London. Kelly joined MFS in 2021 in her current role. Previously, she held various roles over a seven year period with Newton Investment Management/Bank of New York Mellon including client director, commercial sustainability leader and head of UK sales. She also spent eight years at J.P. Morgan Private Bank managing multi-asset portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth clients, covering Russia, Greece and Israel.

Owen Murfin Investment Officer and Institutional Portfolio Manager, MFS Investment Management
Owen Murfin, CFA, is an investment officer and institutional fixed income portfolio manager at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). He is a member of the MFS Global Fixed Income portfolio management team. In this capacity, he participates in portfolio strategy discussions, customizes portfolios to client objectives and guidelines and communicates portfolio investment strategy and positioning. He is based in London.
Prior to joining MFS in 2017, Owen served as managing director and global fixed income portfolio manager at BlackRock for 15 years. Before that, he worked as an associate and global fixed income portfolio manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management for five years. Owen earned a Bachelor of Science degree with first class honors from University College London.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Our portfolio managers are supported by our entire team of investment professionals in nine worldwide offices.
